Eileen Cave is a “teaching artist” in Prince George’s County, providing visual arts instruction at Rosa L. Parks and Hyattsville Elementary Schools. In addition to teaching art, Eileen exhibits at local galleries and restaurants in the Gateway Arts District, featuring her colorful paintings of group scenes, collages, and masks made of various found materials.
In addition to serving as secretary for the Hyattsville CDC, Eileen is also an arts education advocate, grant writer, and arts program consultant for airport arts program master planning. Recently she completed a consultant project for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, and she worked as an artist in residence at the M-NCPPC Expressions summer camp for 13-17 year olds at the Patuxent River 4-H Center. She is pursuing a graduate arts integration certificate from Towson University.
