Call for artists, artisans, and organizations to exhibit at 5^th Annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival

The Fifth Annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival exhibitor application is now available to artists, artisans and other arts organizations. The festival will be held Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Only original artwork, photography, handmade jewelry, and handmade crafts are allowed. No commercial merchandise will be accepted, unless it is incredibly unique and environmentally friendly in nature. We welcome submissions from throughout the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.

Over 50 local visual and performing artists, educators, and craft vendors will gather along the neighborhood streets of Arts District Hyattsville – the D.C. area’s newest smart growth community, showcasing the talented arts community in Hyattsville and the larger Gateway Arts District. A full event press release will be available soon.

IMPORTANT DATES

•        Applications must be received (not postmarked) by Monday August 6, 2012

•        Receive notification of acceptance on Monday, August 13, 2012

•        Submit booth fee of $75 by Monday, August 20, 2012

•        Attend event on Saturday, September 22, 2012
