University of MD - East Campus: The University of Maryland and its developer have formally filed a Detailed Site Plan for the East Campus Project: Phase 1 consists of 423,970 sq ft of retail, 815 residential units, a hotel containing 175-200 rooms, and 104,400 sq ft of office space. Phase II consists of 693 residential units. We are listed as parties of record.

Applicant Kettler’s expansion of a multi-family apartment tower has changed its proposal’s name from Avondale Overlook to the “Metropolitan at Hyattsville.” Due to both their proximity and the name change, we are filing to be parties of record. Additionally, this group has called the CDC to discuss some kind of program assistance they need rendered, and we are to speak soon.
